Important changes

Greetings community.

As the new year gets well underway, the Hades team has decided to make some important changes based on feedback from you. Please read all of this post carefully as it contains important details on our plans and changes to our rules.

First and most important is a change to the damage reduction currently active in heroic Bastion of Twilight, Throne of the Four Winds and Blackwing Descent. We have decided to change this after some time to allow everyone to progress through these instances on heroic and get their teeth into the later heroic bosses. We have spoken to a lot of you recently who expressed that you are struggling to reach the later parts of these raids, and so we decided to make a change.

The current plan is to adjust the reduction to 20% in both 10 and 25 man heroic raids. The reduction will be adjusted as of the first raid reset from this post, Wed 31/1/18. We have decided to make this change, with advice from many of you and the decision was taken with boss kill statistics in mind. Many guilds in 10 man have not come close to clearing the raids, on 25 man even fewer. We hope this adjustment makes it possible for all of you to progress, while not making it too easy.

Secondly we have made some important changes to our rules in the past week regarding loot restoration and ninja looting, that will be explained in detail in this post. We have received a lot of input from you recently over the big issues you would want the Game Master team to deal with. The two we hear about most are loot restoration and ninja looting. After some lengthy discussions in the team a decision was made, and we have outlined a potential plan on how to deal with such issues. Please read the rule changes in this post carefully.

Ninja looting

Ninja looting/blackmailing is strictly prohibited, and if sufficient proof is provided Game Masters can take actions depending on the situation. Please make sure you are aware of the loot rules and have unedited proof. Punishments can be, but are not limited to the following:

  • Item removal
  • Account-wide mute(7-14 days)
  • Combination of mute / item removal
  • Repeat offenders will be treated with a progressive discipline system

Please keep in mind that ninja looting is a sensitive issue. You will not always get the result you want, and proof must ALWAYS be provided. We will simply delete tickets without accurate proof. Any attempts by people to make constant false accusations with no proof may result in punishment to the person making the accusations.

 

Loot Restoration

X. Hades team can only resolve loot issues from raids under certain circumstances. A screenshot of the bugged loot is required, with the raid interface and loot window clearly showing. Issues must be submitted via discord ticket in the following format:

  • Lootmaster’s name:
  • Guilds name (if not a pug and/or who raid ID belongs to):
  • Raid and Boss:
  • Item name:
  • Who has the item:
  • Who should have the item:
  • Date of kill:
  • Boss kill link:

Any tickets not meeting the requirements will be deleted. Loot issues from raids are subject to Loot Incident Quota, this means that only so many items can be refunded per raid group in a set time frame. We do not resolve loot issues from dungeons at this time.

Y. Hades Team has limited ability to restore items and/or swap quest rewards. In most cases it may not be possible for our team to restore lost/sold/deleted/missing items and swap quest rewards.

Z. Hades Team does not have the ability to modify/restore gold, mail or Honor. Hades Team is also unable to restore items/objects that are lost due to server crashes/restarts.

The Game Master team will only be able to resolve loot restoration issues in certain situations. Please familiarise yourself with the policy found in our rules, and the method of submitting a ticket on discord.

We do not cover restoration from a server crash.

In some circumstances it may be possible for the administrator to restore deleted characters. You can contact a staff member through private messages for details, however restoration requests must be made within 30 days of deletion. We would like to remind players that account security is the responsibility of the account owner. The Game Master team does not have the ability to restore deleted characters or accounts.
