PTR Changes
Dear players,
Hades launch is near and it’s necessary to prepare for what you will (or won’t) run into the very first days. It’s important to remove from the game everything that shouldn’t be present until the Cataclysm content launch. We’re talking about trainers, vendors, quests, instances, etc.
To prevent any issues at launch, these changes will be continuously applied on our PTR realm.
The PTR was always serving as a general testing realm regardless of content. Now we need to reserve it for this type of testing.
We’ll be glad if you will help us with it, so Hades can look exactly how it should at launch.
What do these changes include?
- maximum level will be set to 80
- flying mount will be restricted on Azeroth
- level 80+ cataclysm locations will be unavailable (you will be ported out upon entering into these)
- Cataclysm dungeons and raids will be closed
- level 80+ quests from boards in capital cities will be unavailable
- Archaeology trainers will be unavailable
- guild experience will be disabled
- Arenas, rated battlegrounds and 2 new Cataclysm BGs (Twin Peaks, Battle for Gilneas) will be closed
If you run into anything that shouldn’t be available immediately at launch and we missed it, please let us know in our bug tracker.
And what on the other hand will be available at launch?
- new Goblin and Worgen races
- new race/class combinations (e.g. Tauren paladin)
Along with these, we would like to inform you about are regular monthly changelog.
Changelog for the month October consists of 181 fixes. We thank you for your help in reporting and fixing these issues.
