Miss Apollo, season 2
Dear players!
As year 2021 comes, we have once again prepared another event for you, Miss Apollo. This is the contest where the players with the most good-looking equipment win, where what matters is the appearance of your items and not their statistics.
Miss Apollo will take place on both Apollo 1 and Apollo 2, according to the following schedule:
- Friday, January 8, 16:00: Apollo 1 Alliance
- Friday, January 8, 18:00: Apollo 1 Horde
- Saturday, January 9, 16:00: Apollo 2 Horde
- Saturday, January 9, 18:00: Apollo 2 Alliance
If you want to participate as a contestant, send a message to CM Lidansa (Discord, forum, lidansa@twinstar.cz) and provide your in-game character name, faction, and realm. If you want to attend as a spectator, you don’t have to enter in advance. The event will take place on Darkmoon Island, like the last time. There are no restrictions on your level or equipment.
During the contest, our committee will select 10 participants from every faction, who will advance to the next round (taking place on Discord after that). Your equipment (including weapons etc.) will be evaluated based on various criteria, such as originality, rarity, overall consistency etc. On the other hand, appearance, gender, race, or abilities of your characters will not be considered.
The winners of the whole contest (separately for the Alliance and the Horde, as well as for Apollo 1 and Apollo 2) will be given one of the pre-Cata starting shirts, and items from the donate shop (all of your choice) from these categories:
1st place: pet + tabard + other
2nd place: tabard + other
3rd place: other
The players selected in the 1st round will also be rewarded with gold.
Contest entry will be closed on January 8 at 14:00 for Apollo 1 and January 9 at 14:00 for Apollo 2.
